Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Bacon, diced
  • 1/4 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles
  • 1 tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 3 c. Water
  • 1 tbsp. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
  • 1/2 c. THRIVE Celery
  • 1 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces
  • 1 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1 can Golden Cornbread Mix Pantry can, bake according to direction

Directions

  1. Bake the Corn Bread according to can instructions, then dice.
  2. Begin by preheating the oven to 350.
  3. Brown the bacon in a 2 quart sauce pan.
  4. Add the garlic, sausage, and onions and sweat with the bacon until lightly browned.
  5. Add the butter and melt together.
  6. Add the water and remaining ingredients, except the bread.
  7. Bring to a simmer for 3 minutes.
  8. Place the dried bread in a large bowl.
  9. Pour stuffing mixture over the bread in small batches while stirring.
  10. Mix well.
  11. Bake on a cookie sheet for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
