Cornbread Stuffing

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Bacon, diced
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles
- 1 tbsp. Garlic, minced
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 3 c. Water
- 1 tbsp. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
- 1 1/2 tbsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Celery
- 1 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces
- 1 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1 can Golden Cornbread Mix Pantry can, bake according to direction
Directions
- Bake the Corn Bread according to can instructions, then dice.
- Begin by preheating the oven to 350.
- Brown the bacon in a 2 quart sauce pan.
- Add the garlic, sausage, and onions and sweat with the bacon until lightly browned.
- Add the butter and melt together.
- Add the water and remaining ingredients, except the bread.
- Bring to a simmer for 3 minutes.
- Place the dried bread in a large bowl.
- Pour stuffing mixture over the bread in small batches while stirring.
- Mix well.
- Bake on a cookie sheet for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
