Ingredients

  • 2 cups Thrive Life Instant Milk
  • 1 cup Thrive Life Sour Cream Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Thrive Life Chef's Choice Seasoning
  • 2 cups Cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup Thrive Life Chicken Bouillon
  • 1/2 cup Thrive Life FD Chopped Onions
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Sift together all ingredients till completely mixed, and store in a quart sealer.
  2. To use, whisk 1/2 cup mixture into 2 cups water. Bring to a slow boil, then reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes till nicely thickened, stirring constantly to prevent scorching or lumping.
  3. Beautiful, thick creamy white sauce.
  4. To use as a base for homemade cream soup, simply add your other freeze dried ingredients: mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, chopped chicken etc. Stir in, and add water to desired consistency.
  5. Simmer slowly to allow meat or vegetables to soften and refresh, stirring frequently. Let sit at room temperature.
  6. *hint: save the powder from the bottom of your Thrive Life can to use in your cream soup.
