Basic White Sauce or Cream Soup Base

The perfect mix to have on hand, this can be the base for your favorite cream soup, or a simple white sauce for anything you need it for.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Thrive Life Instant Milk
- 1 cup Thrive Life Sour Cream Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Thrive Life Chef's Choice Seasoning
- 2 cups Cornstarch
- 1/3 cup Thrive Life Chicken Bouillon
- 1/2 cup Thrive Life FD Chopped Onions
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Sift together all ingredients till completely mixed, and store in a quart sealer.
- To use, whisk 1/2 cup mixture into 2 cups water. Bring to a slow boil, then reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes till nicely thickened, stirring constantly to prevent scorching or lumping.
- Beautiful, thick creamy white sauce.
- To use as a base for homemade cream soup, simply add your other freeze dried ingredients: mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, chopped chicken etc. Stir in, and add water to desired consistency.
- Simmer slowly to allow meat or vegetables to soften and refresh, stirring frequently. Let sit at room temperature.
