Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 3 C THRIVE Instant Black Beans
  • 1/3 C THRIVE Sausage Crumbles
  • 1/3 C THRIVE Green Chili Peppers
  • 1/3 C THRIVE Chopped Onions
  • 1/3 C THRIVE Celery
  • 2 Tbsp THRIVE Tomato Powder
  • 1 Tbsp THRIVE Beef Bouillon
  • 1/2 C THRIVE Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Cilantro
  • 1 1/2 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1/4 tsp Iodized Salt
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Cholula
  • 1 1/2 tsp Lime Juice
  • 8 C Water

Directions

  1. Saute garlic in butter until lightly caramelized.
  2. Add in remaining ingredients and bring up to a simmer.
  3. Let simmer for 12 minutes, or until beans are cooked through.
  4. Puree soup until smooth.
  5. Serve with cheese, chips, and sour cream.
  6. Yield: 8 cups
