Simple Chicken Corn Chowder

I had to do another experiment, and see if I could make up a chicken corn chowder after seeing a can of it in the local grocery store (the ingredients were disturbing...). This recipe came out tasting pretty dar

Ingredients
- 1/4 C THRIVE Sweet Corn
- 1/4 C THRIVE Seasoned Chicken Slices (Broken into smaller pieces)
- 1/8 C THRIVE Green Onions
- 1/8 C THRIVE Celery
- 1/4 C THRIVE Green Peas
- 1 1/2 tsp THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 2 C Water
- 2 Tbsp Rice Flour
- 3 Tbsp THRIVE Intant Milk
- 3 Tbsp THRIVE Mashed Potatoes
- 1 Tbsp Margarine without Salt
- 1/2 tsp Iodized Salt
Directions
- Pour water into pot on stove.
- Add all ingredients, except for the Margarine, and Mashed Potatoes.
- Heat mixture just below medium on stove for apx. 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After 15 minutes, or just at the start of boiling occurs, reduce heat to simmer.
- Add the mashed potatoes, and stir gently. Mixture should start thickening up.
- Add the Margarine. Stir in well.
- Allow to simmer apx. 5 minutes.
