Ingredients
- 2 c. THRIVE Instant White Rice
- 1 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Onion Slices - Freeze Dried
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Green Chili Peppers - Freeze Dried
- 1 Roma Tomato
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp. Chicken Bouillon
- 1 tbsp. Olive oil or Butter
- 1 3/4 c. Water
Directions
- Blend onion slices, green chilies, Thrive seasoning, cumin and 1 roma tomato with water in a blender, until blended smooth. Set aside.
- Saute dry rice in olive oil until lightly golden.
- Add in blended mixture along with the garlic powder and chicken bouillon to the rice and stir.
- Bring to a simmer and cover. Turn heat to low and cook rice for 6 minutes, or until rice is soft and fluffy.
- Yield: 3 1/2 cups
