Ingredients

  • 2 c. THRIVE Instant White Rice
  • 1 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 c. THRIVE Onion Slices - Freeze Dried
  • 1/4 c. THRIVE Green Chili Peppers - Freeze Dried
  • 1 Roma Tomato
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp. Chicken Bouillon
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil or Butter
  • 1 3/4 c. Water

Directions

  1. Blend onion slices, green chilies, Thrive seasoning, cumin and 1 roma tomato with water in a blender, until blended smooth. Set aside.
  2. Saute dry rice in olive oil until lightly golden.
  3. Add in blended mixture along with the garlic powder and chicken bouillon to the rice and stir.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cover. Turn heat to low and cook rice for 6 minutes, or until rice is soft and fluffy.
  5. Yield: 3 1/2 cups
