My son and I made this up years ago one Sunday afternoon when we were hungry. It is a perfect meal for a lazy afternoon! So many Thrive ingredients are perfect in this one! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 T Butter
  • 3 T Flour
  • 2 t. Thrive Vegetarian Beef Bouillon
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 cup Thrive Freeze Dried Beef (I used small cubed)
  • 1/2 cup Thrive Freeze Dried Mushrooms
  • 1/4 Cup Thrive Freeze Dried Chopped Onions
  • 1 T. Peppercorn Seasoning
  • 1 T. Dried Basil
  • 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 ounce Sour Cream
  • 1/2 brick Cream Cheese (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Milk or Heavy Cream (to taste)
  • 1 Bag Egg noodles or pasta of choice

Directions

  1. 1. Melt butter and add flour till it balls up, slowly add water and bouillon
  2. 2. Reconstitute beef in a bowl of water for a few minutes and add to broth
  3. 3.Reconstitute onions and mushrooms in a little water, and add to broth, and seasonings to broth
  4. 4. Add cream cheese, sour cream and milk to your desired thickness
  5. 5. Serve over egg noodles
