Lemon Herbed Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Butter or THRIVE Butter
- 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Zest
- 2 Cups THRIVE Instant White Rice
- 1 Tbsp THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
- 2 1/2 CUPS Water, boiling
- 1/4 Cups THRIVE Carrot Dices
- 1/2 Cup THRIVE Chopped Onions
- 1/2 Cup THRIVE Celery
- 1/2 tsp Iodized Salt
- 1/2 tsp Peppercorn
- 1/2 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 2 Tbsp Basil
- 1/4 Cup Parsley
- 2 Tbsp Chives
- 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter with garlic and lemon zest.
- Add rice and stir lightly to coat. Add bouillon, water, carrots, onions, and celery and bring to a simmer.
- Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in herbs.
- Cover rice and turn off heat. Allow to stand for 3–5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving
