Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Butter or THRIVE Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Zest
  • 2 Cups THRIVE Instant White Rice
  • 1 Tbsp THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
  • 2 1/2 CUPS Water, boiling
  • 1/4 Cups THRIVE Carrot Dices
  • 1/2 Cup THRIVE Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 Cup THRIVE Celery
  • 1/2 tsp Iodized Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Peppercorn
  • 1/2 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 2 Tbsp Basil
  • 1/4 Cup Parsley
  • 2 Tbsp Chives
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter with garlic and lemon zest.
  2. Add rice and stir lightly to coat. Add bouillon, water, carrots, onions, and celery and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in herbs.
  4. Cover rice and turn off heat. Allow to stand for 3–5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving
