Lemon Basil Shrimp Penne

Ingredients
- 3 c. Whole Grain Penne Pasta
- 1 c. shrimp (12 shrimp)
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. Chopped Onions- Dehydrated
- 1/4 c. white wine
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Tomato Dices - Freeze Dried
- 2 tbsp. Basil
- 3/4 tbsp . THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1/4 tsp. Iodized Salt
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp. THRIVE Green Onions - Freeze Dried
- 1 c. cream
Directions
- Cook pasta in salted water and cool; set aside. In a large hot skillet, sauté shrimp with half the butter and lemon juice. Remove when almost cooked and set aside in bowl. Sauté garlic and onions in same pan, then deglaze with wine. Add water, tomatoes, basil, remaining lemon juice, Chef’s Choice, and salt and bring to a simmer. Whisk in tomato sauce and bring to a simmer for 1 minute. Add in shrimp with juice, green onions, and cream; bring to a simmer for 1 minute or until mixture thickens. Toss in cooked pasta and simmer until hot. Finish with remaining butter.
