Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Penne or Rotini pasta
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces - Freeze Dried
  • 1 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles - Freeze Dried
  • 1 1/2 c. THRIVE Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - Freeze Dried
  • 1 can Black olives
  • 1 q. Spaghetti Sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Boil pasta according to package directions.
  3. Meanwhile, reconstitute sausage and mushrooms in a small bowl with just enough water to cover it.
  4. In a separate bowl, reconstitute mozzarella cheese.
  5. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Then add reconstituted sausage and mushrooms (no need to drain off excess water), and sautee until slightly browned.

  7. Drain water off black olives and add to saucepan, and add spaghetti sauce to mixture. Heat through.
  8. Once pasta is boiled to al dente, drain the water from the pasta.
  9. Then stir cooked pasta together with the spaghetti sauce mixture.
  10. Pour pasta mixture into a 9x13 casserole dish. Sprinkle reconstituted mozzarella cheese over the top of the casserole.
  11. Place pasta in the preheated oven, and bake for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted on top. Enjoy!
