Legitimate Noodle Surprise

This recipe is a family favorite. It's also super flexible - you can easily expand everything to feed extra hungry teenage boys, or add extra sauce if you like more sauce in your pasta.

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Penne or Rotini pasta
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces - Freeze Dried
- 1 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles - Freeze Dried
- 1 1/2 c. THRIVE Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - Freeze Dried
- 1 can Black olives
- 1 q. Spaghetti Sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Boil pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, reconstitute sausage and mushrooms in a small bowl with just enough water to cover it.
- In a separate bowl, reconstitute mozzarella cheese.
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Then add reconstituted sausage and mushrooms (no need to drain off excess water), and sautee until slightly browned.

- Drain water off black olives and add to saucepan, and add spaghetti sauce to mixture. Heat through.
- Once pasta is boiled to al dente, drain the water from the pasta.
- Then stir cooked pasta together with the spaghetti sauce mixture.
- Pour pasta mixture into a 9x13 casserole dish. Sprinkle reconstituted mozzarella cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Place pasta in the preheated oven, and bake for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted on top. Enjoy!
