Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Freeze Dried Chicken
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Freeze Dried Chopped Onions
  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder or minced Garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Directions

  1. In a bowl, put the chicken and ¾ cups water. Stir to refresh the chicken and let sit for a few minutes while you make the sauce, stirring several times.
  2. In another small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, onions, ketchup, olive oil, and garlic.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the 2 tablespoons of water and set aside.
  4. Put chicken (and any extra water in bowl) into the pot and pour sauce over it. Stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Add the cornstarch/water mixture into the sauce and stir for 1 minute.
  5. Serve over rice or quinoa. Goes well with stir fired vegetables.
