French Toast Grilled Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 C milk
- 1/4 C Thrive Life Scrambled Egg Mix (or 2 eggs)
- pinch of salt
- 6 nice, thick slices of homemade sourdough bread or something equally wonderful
- 2 C Thrive Life Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Tbsp oil for frying
Directions
- Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
- Slowly whisk milk, flour, eggs, and salt together.
- Dip bread slices into batter to completely coat.
- Transfer bread slices to skillet and cook on both sides until grilled to a golden brown.
- Distribute cheese evenly between three bread slices and add the other three slices on top.
- Reduce heat and allow cheese to melt.
- Serve warm with soup or salad.
- Dessert option: To the batter, add 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and 2 tsp sugar. Top finished bread with raspberry sauce and cream or ice cream. Spectacular desserts have never been so simple!
