Chuck Wagon Layer Casserole

It is a beef, pasta, cheeses, tomato, spinach layered casserole. What makes it Chuck Wagon style is the beef gravy mixed with the hamburger.

Ingredients
- 4 c Egg Noodle Pasta, cook as directed, drain
- 1 c THRIVE Ground Beef - reconstituted
- 1 pt. Picante Sauce
- 1 c THRIVE Espagnole, add water and cook as directed until thick
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Black Powder
- 1 c THRIVE Sour Cream Powder
- 1 c Cream Cheese
- 1/2 c THRIVE Instant Milk - reconstituted
- 1/4 c THRIVE Chopped Onions
- 1 c THRIVE Chopped Spinach
- 1 c THRIVE Shredded Cheddar Cheese - reconstituted
- 3 Tbsp THRIVE Butter Powder - add a little oil and mix with hot noodles
- 1/4 c THRIVE Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray casserole dish with cooking spray or butter the dish.
- Cook noodles, add butter, stir and set aside.
- Make beef gravy and stir in hamburger, garlic powder, pepper and basil.
- Mix Cream cheese, milk, sour cream and onions until smooth. (Can use masher or mixer)
- Assemble casserole with 1/2 of the ingredients with noodles first, then big spoonful's of 1/2 of the hamburger / gravy, picante sauce and cheese mixture.
- Add Spinach.
- Cover and bake for 35 minutes.
- Uncover, add cheddar cheese and bake for 10 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve warm.
- Shake Parmesan cheese at any step or end of the layers.
