Chef Todd's Taco Soup

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. Butter or THRIVE Butter
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles FD
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Chopped Onions FD
- 5 c. water
- 1/3 c. THRIVE Ground Beef FD
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Seasoned Chicken Slices FD
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Red Bell Peppers FD
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Green Bell Peppers FD
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Sweet Corn FD
- 1/3 c. THRIVE Instant Pinto Beans
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1/2 tsp. Peppercorn
- 1 tbsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
- 2 tbsp. THRIVE Tomato Powder
- 1 tbsp. lime juice
- 1/2 tbsp. Cholula hot sauce
- 3/4 c. corn tortillas, cut into medium pieces
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese - Freeze Dried
- 2 tbsp. THRIVE Green Onions - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 c. THRIVE Tomato Dices - Freeze Dried
- 1 1/2 tbsp. Cilantro
Directions
- In a 2 qt. pot, sweat garlic and butter together. Add sausage and onions and lightly brown.
- Add water and all remaining ingredients except cheese, green onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. Bring to a simmer and simmer for 4–5 minutes.
- Fold in remaining ingredients and simmer for another 2–3 minutes. Allow to rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.
