Cheesy Sausage Stromboli

My kids frequently request this family favorite. This sausage-filled bread is not tricky to make... especially using the Thrive Country White Dough Mix, and I never have to worry about left overs!

Ingredients
- 2 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles
- 1 1/2 c. THRIVE Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 3 tbsp. Whole Egg Powder or THRIVE Scrambled Egg Mix
- 1 tsp. Basil
- 1 tbsp. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
- 3 3/4 c. THRIVE Country White Dough Mix
- 2 1/4 tsp. Instant Dry Yeast
- 1 c. plus 2 TBSP Water
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Shredded Parmesan Cheese - crushed
Directions
- Follow the directions to make one loaf bread from the Thrive country white dough mix. Let raise. While raising, reconstitute the sausage and cheese, then mix together add Basil . Add two whole eggs with 4 TBSP. water to sausage mixture. Roll out the dough into a 15x10 in rectangle, Spoon the mixture lengthwise down one side of rectangle to within 1 in. of edges. Fold dough over filling, pinch edges to seal. Cut four diagonal slits on top of Stromboli. Brush with remaining whole egg, and sprinkle with reconstituted Parmesan. Cover and let rise until doubled,about 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve warm.
