Breakfast Gravy

A delicious breakfast gravy great for biscuits, omelets, or just about any breakfast food!

Ingredients
- 1/2 C THRIVE Sausage Crumbles
- 2 Tbsp THRIVE Chopped Onions
- 1/2 C Water
- 1 Tbsp Butter or THRIVE butter
- 1/4 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 2 C Water
- 1 C THRIVE Bechamel (Creamy White Sauce)
- 1 tsp Chives
Directions
- In a small bowl, add ½ cup water to sausage and onions and allow to soak for 5 minutes until softened.
- Simmer mixture in a small saucepan (without draining) with butter and seasoning blend until almost dry.
- Add remaining water and sauce mix and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Fold in chives before serving.
- Recipe featured in September 2013 Thrive It Up broadcast. Add a pinch of black pepper and red cayenne pepper for a spicier sauce.
