Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C Thrive Life Instant Black Beans, cooked
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 C white sugar
  • 1/3 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 C cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Puree cooked black beans in a blender o food processor into a rough paste.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the bean puree, eggs, oil, and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, then stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Grease an 8x8-inch pan and line with parchment paper.
  7. Pour in batter and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the edges are visibly cooked and the center is set up.
  8. Allow brownies to cool before cutting.
