  • 4 Eggs, with yolks separated out
  • 3 tbsp. THRIVE Instant MilkTHRIVE Instant Milk + 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 3/4 c. Butter, melted
  • 1 c. Cornmeal
  • 2 c. White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)
  • 1 1/2 c. Cane Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Iodized Salt

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine egg yolks, milk, vanilla, and cooled melted butter and stir.
  3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring to incorporate (do not over mix).
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold egg whites into batter.
  5. Pour into a greased 9x9 pan and bake for 45 minutes. Check with toothpick to make sure it is cooked through.

For extra flavor, rub top of bread with butter when it comes out of the oven.
