Ingredients:

Tomato Sauce

  • 1 tbsp. Garlic, Minced
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/4 c. Tomato Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Peppercorn
  • 1/2 tsp. Iodized Salt

Directions:

  1. Add pulled pork to a small container with a lid, then add 1 cup of water, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper and allow to rest. Tumble occasionally.
  2. Refresh the onions, red bell peppers, green onions and pineapple by placing them in a container with a lid and add 1/3 cup water. Tumble occasionally.
  3. For the pizza sauce, add olive oil and garlic to a small sauce pot and sweat until lightly brown. Add in salt, pepper, sugar and Italian seasoning. Stir well, then add 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to a simmer. Add in tomato powder while stirring and simmer for 1-2 minutes until thick. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  4. To assemble the pizza, first drain any excess water from pork and veggies. Cut a fresh loaf of french bread down the middle long ways and top each side with the sauce, followed by the toppings, then the cheese. Top cheese with additional Italian seasoning as desired.
  5. Bake in 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and lightly browned.
