"Gimme Thrive" Honey Balsamic Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, stir the pork for 30 seconds or so and then add the water.
  2. Stir in the brown sugar, sage, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, vinegar, honey crystals, and cornstarch. Allow to simmer while the pork refreshes fully. Add more water as necessary.
  3. Once pork is fully refreshed, remove it from the pan into a bowl and set aside.
  4. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Use remaining butter for the skillet.
  5. With the skillet on medium-low to low heat, place a butter-side-down bread slice and top with 1 slice of cheese, 1/2 cup of pulled pork (spread evenly), another slice of cheese, and a butter-side-up bread slice.
  6. Cook until bottom bread is a deep golden brown. Then carefully flip the sandwich over and cook the other side. Remove from skillet and repeat for 3 more sandwiches.
